Ornate Garden Thank You

Ornate Garden Suite

I have had the best time creating cards with the new Ornate Garden Suite that will be offered in the new Annual 2020-21 catalog. Demonstrators were able to preorder and now you as a customer can order the suite. You can order the whole suite or bits and pieces. What do I usually do? You got…..I order the whole suite!!!

Today’s card starts with a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 piece of whisper white card stock scored at 4 1/4. The 4 x 5 1/4 mint macaron layer piece was run through the embossing machine with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder . I sponged white craft ink onto the layer to get additional depth the embossed piece. I love the depth the flowered image gives to the card. I find using tombow glue is helpful when adhering an embossed image to the cardbase. I took a 3 1/4 x 4 3/4 scrap of shaded spruce cardstock and ran it through the embossing machine with intricate framed floral die from the Ornate Layers Dies. Running this die 2 times through the machine is helpful when using intricate dies like this one. I stamped the floral image from the Ornate Style Cling Stamp Set on a 2 1/4 x 3 5/8 piece of whisper white in mint macaron ink. I adhered the floral image onto the shaded spruce floral frame with tombow glue. I used dimensionals to pop up the floral framed image onto the card front.

The “thank you” sentiment from the Ornate Thanks Photopolymer Stamp Set was stamped onto a 1 1/4 x 4 1/4 piece of shaded spruce cardstock with versamark and white embossing powder. It’s helpful to sweep the embossing buddy across the cardstock before stamping so you get a precise amount of powder onto the stamped image. The “thank you” sentiment is from the same Ornate Thanks stamp set and was stamped and embossed with white embossing powder on a scrap piece of mint macaron and then punched out with the Classic Label punch. Both pieces were adhered to the card front using dimensionals.

Never leave a card without BLING ?. I added some rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels and the New Gilded Gems that come in the Ornate Garden Suite

Come back tomorrow for another new card from the suite. I hope to see you then!!

Happy Stamping!!!
