How does the time fly? I am so ready for summer to be gone and start decorating for fall. My children are back in college, one in graduate school, and it’s quiet again. I was happy to have them home since March but it went by way too fast. Now I have time to play with my new products from the Holiday Mini Catalog.
One of my top favorites is the Beautiful Autumn Bundle. The bundle comes with 3 mini punches (acorn and 2 leaves). The best part is the punches can be used to punch out acorns and leaves that are in the Gilded Autumn Specialty Paper….BONUS!!
I used the Wreath Builder Dies to build the wreath and then punched out acorns and leaves and fussy cut some pumpkins and gourds. I just love the metallic accents in the paper.
The “Give Thanks” card was easy to put together using the wreath builder dies.
TIPS OF THE TRADE….
- Add dimension to the card front by using an embossing folder. Here I used the Brick and Mortar 3D Embossing Folder and ran just the front of the card through the NEW Emboss & Cut Machine (available September 1, 2020).
- A quick way to add glue to the wreath is to sponge the multipurpose glue on the wreath using the silicone mat underneath….the glue dries and comes right off the mat
The last wreath card I created was using the wreath builder technique and the stamparatus .
This technique is a quick and easy way to create a wreath with just a few stamps. I will be making a technique video on this card soon so be sure to check back.
I hope these cards are getting you excited for fall. If you would like to get any of these products just click on the link below the supply list provided at the end of this post.
Happy Stamping,
