This is one of my new favorite sets!!!!  From the stamp set and framelits to the matching designer paper…this suite called Garden Impressions doesn’t disappoint.  The focal image of the card is the floral framelit that is from the Springtime Impressions Thinlits Dies (page 129 in the Annual Catalog).

Starting with the card on the left, I took the cut floral image and layed it down on a piece of 4 x 5 1/4 whisper white card stock and sponged the image with grapefruit grove, tranquil tide and blackberry bliss inks.  I lifted up the image and had a beautiful negative image on the whisper white cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment from the Abstract Impressions Stamp Set in mint macaron.  A piece of the 1/2” lace trim was tied around the white cardstock before I layered it on a piece of blackberry bliss cardstock and then adhered the cardstock to a piece of mint macaron.  Very simple yet stunning!!

The floral image that I sponged was adhered to the card on the right on a piece of mint macaron that was run through the big shot with the Basket Weave Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I love the dimension these folders give to the paper.  I stamped the sentiment in tranquil tide on a scrap piece of whisper white and ran it through the big shot with a stitched oval framelit and layered it on a blackberry bliss scalloped oval shape.  I love how the rhinestones add a little sparkle to the flowers. Here is the inside of the card…..

Don’t hesitate to add a stamped image to the inside of the card…it adds just a little something special to the person receiving the card.

I feel like the Garden Impressions Suite has a lot to offer and you definitely should give it a try.
